Introducing Neel Bose

Neel Bose is one of the Shelburne News interns for this semester. He is an eighth grader at SCS and is on the Holden House team.
Description: Neel Bose describes himself as a person that is, "A little bit ordinary, a little bit extraordinary, but nothing less." Neel says this is because he never considered himself special. He also never considered himself ordinary.
School and activities: Neel was on the Cross Country team in the fall and is on the Spelling Bee Team. Neel has not been in SCS his entire life. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. Soon he moved to Connecticut and around New England for a little bit. Then he moved to southern Illinois. Finally, in fifth grade, he moved to Shelburne, Vermont and has been in my class ever since.
Hobbies: If you have ever met Neel you would know that he loves to write. He makes up many stories, but he cannot make a substantial plot for many of them. His most recent story, "Fallen Star," he publishes on Facebook occasionally. Neel says his new story is, "What keeps me writing."
Family: Neel has a fraternal twin brother named Arjun Bose. His father, Sanjay Bose, works as a cardiologist in Porter Medical Hospital. His Mother, Indrani Bose, works at Goodrich Aeronautics in Vergennes. Neel also has a lot of extended family in India.
Favorite drink: Neel's favorite drink is Earl Grey Tea with milk and sugar.
Favorite subject: Neel's favorite subject is language arts, he says that this is because, "I've always liked writing." He likes to write because it makes him feel like he is creating an art that many people will like.
Fantasy destination: To travel around famous cities in Europe, "London, Berlin, Paris, and many more." He wants to travel to these places because throughout his childhood he has not traveled on vacations around the world.
In the future: Neel sees himself working in a position that involves writing, "Film script, writing a novel, journalism, that kind of thing." He sees himself there because he wants to do something big in the art of writing.
Hidden talents: He is a pianist and "is a good one, too." Many people do not know this about him because they only know him as a writer. He always has written things, either poetry or exciting stories.
