Lowrey-Ney

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowrey Sr. of Shelburne announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Anne Lowrey to Dr. Douglas Edward Ney, son of Maurice and Carol Ney of Murrysville Pa.  
Melissa received her master's of nursing degree from the University of Vermont. She is currently practicing as a nurse practitioner in the bone marrow transplant/hematologic malignancies program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver, Colo.
Douglas received his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, completed his residency at the University of Vermont, and finished his training at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is a neuro-oncologist at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
