88 Eight Graders graduate
Eighty-eight eighth-graders graduated from the Shelburne Community School (SCS) on Tuesday evening, June 15. All of the young Shelburne residents proudly received their diplomas and now are ready to take that big step up to high school. Students Nicole Israel Myer, Brooke Aicher, Emma Griesser, Leah Epstein, Emma Davitt, Connor Gobeille, and Lucas Hilker read student reflections, and Ryan Nick spoke to the graduating class as an SCS alumni.
Proud parents, friends, and family members applauded as each student received his/her diploma.
Special awards and honors were given out this year as always.
To end the evening, SCS Principal John Bossange gave his final remarks to the last class graduating on his watch. Bossange has seen 10 eighth-grade classes graduate.
A memorable evening was had by all.
