Shelburne's most photogenic pet is Ricky Lee Pickens. Owner Craig Dicken will receive a free photo session and a $50 photo credit with Mountain Dog Photography. The Shelburne News received a remarkable response from the community for this pet contest. There were 35 adorable photos of Shelburne pets, and over 260 people voted. Runners up for most photogenic pet were Olive, who came in second and Nilla Wafer Gilman, who came in third place. Each owner who submitted a photo received a $50 photo credit from Mountain Dog Photography. Thank you to all of those who submitted photos and who voted, making Shelburne's Picture Perfect Pet Contest a huge success!

Kelly Schulze, owner of Mountain Dog Photography said that she had a difficult time choosing her favorite photo too. Schulze also said that all of the animals featured in the contest were worthy of a photo shoot and she was thrilled with the number of submissions and votes.
