Children looking to have fun on the courts should look no further than the tennis camp offered by the Shelburne Parks and Recreation department in August. This one week camp, led by U.S. Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) pro Nick Marchand and his certified staff will provide campers of all abilities a chance to learn and play the game of tennis. Marchand and his staff stress a fun and positive environment for all participants. The camps will be held August 16-20 at the Davis Park tennis courts and in the event of rain, every attempt will be made to schedule a make-up class. The cost is $125 unless otherwise noted and includes a t-shirt for each camper. Family discounts are available.

The Little Strokers camp for ages five to seven will be held from 9-11 a.m. and the Big Spinner camp for ages eight to 11 will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Power of Three camp is for ages nine to 12, runs from 5-7 p.m. and costs $200 per camper. Campers should bring a nutritional snack and a water bottle daily.
