Shelburne Day - a community showcase

Are you one of Shelburne's invisible businesses? You're not alone. There are dozens of businesses in Shelburne that are important, interesting, creative, successful ... and operate below the radar in terms of visibility in the community.

If you have a story to tell, if you would like your Shelburne neighbors to know about the services you offer or the products you sell, the work you do when sitting at your computer in your home office or on your laptop when flying to destinations far and near, then Shelburne Day is an answer for you.

Shelburne Day, Saturday Aug. 21, is the annual showcase for Shelburne businesses and is sponsored by the Shelburne Business and Professional Association. Shelburne Day is a chance for members of SBPA to tell their story to the community.

Members of SBPA can have free exhibit space to display products, hand out brochures or business cards, and chat with the crowds who come to the Parade Ground on Church Street in Shelburne. Sharing the grassy lawn with the popular Shelburne Farmers Market guarantees many browsers and adds to the feeling of community that makes Shelburne Day special.
The key to participation in Shelburne Day is membership in Shelburne Business and Professional Association - and that membership is a bargain when you calculate the benefits: free exhibit space on Shelburne Day, a page on the SBPAVT.org website, and membership helps to support the organization that speaks up for Shelburne's business interests.

Registration is easy: go to www.sbpavt.org. For a limited time, through Friday Aug. 13, SBAVT offers a special membership fee of $50 - a saving of $15 from the regular $65 annual fee. It's a real deal.
