Sarah Shackett, daughter of Dennis and Kathy Shackett of Shelburne, and Moses Murphy, son of John and Regina Murphy of North Duxbury, were united in marriage on July 23, 2011.

Justice of the Peace Greg Staley officiated the double-ring ceremony at the Sugarbush Resort Golf Course.

Katie Brady was the matron of honor.  Carly Krasner was the maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Kate Echo, Zoe Murphy, Faye Murphy, and Emily Barron.  Ruby Hartigan was the flower girl.

Shane Muth and Ryan Wall were the best men.  Groomsmen were Joe Carey, Jarred Wells, Sean Sweeney, and Chris Shackett.

A reception was held at the Sugarbush Resort Gatehouse, after which the couple honeymooned in Jamaica.

Mrs. Murphy graduated from UVM with both her B.S. and M.S.  She is the guidance counselor at J.F.K. Elementary School in Winooski, Vermont.

Her husband graduated from Johnson State College.  He is a senior assistant director of admissions at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.

The couple resides in Williston.
