The Humane Society of Chittenden County (HSCC) is hosting a brand new fall fundraising event this weekend, the Black Cat Soiree. It will be held on Nov. 19 at the FlynnSpace (135 Main St, Burlington), and stands to be one of the more elegant evenings in town. Besides live jazz and a cash bar, the evening's entertainment will include exquisite raffle prizes (think private villa vacations) and silent auction items, coupled with a showing and sale of artwork by local artists.
