Parents, friends, and students filled CVU's hallways and theater seats last Thursday evening when they celebrated the arts-all of the arts-with aplomb. The CVU performing arts department presented Celebrate the Arts Night with a lively and all-encompassing show. The walls, halls, and tables were filled with visual arts: drawings, paintings, pottery, photography, design and build toys, and engineering robots. The stage curtains opened on a capella and madrigal singers, symphonic bands, choruses, chamber music bands, actors, and public speakers. The evening offered a glimpse at the gifts, accomplishments, and potential of more than a hundred talented local teenagers.
