Elizabeth Alexandra (Libby) Merritt of Shelburne was named to the Honors List for the Fall  2011 semester at Franklin and Marshall. She is the daughter of Ken and Sharon Merritt of Shelburne. 

Paul Smith's College 

- Paul Smiths, NY

Nathan Mills of Shelburne has been named to the dean's list at Paul Smith's College for the fall 2011 semester. Mills, who is majoring in fisheries and wildlife sciences, was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

St. Lawrence University

The following students from Shelburne have been selected for membership in the St. Lawrence University chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the national biology honorary society: Nicholas A. Bryan, Class of 2012, majoring in Neuroscience. Jennifer A. Clauss, Class of 2013, majoring in Neuroscience.

Andrew Proft was named to the Dean's List at SUNY-Plattsburgh for the fall semester. He is the son of Jim and Marie Proft of Shelburne.
