Aug. 28 was a happy day at the Shelburne Community School as students, teachers and staff alike headed back to the classroom, and the playground, under sunny skies. Most Vermont schoolchildren went back to school last week. As of Sept. 5, there are only 170 days until summer vacation!

Volunteer mentors needed at Shelburne Community School

Shelburne Community School is actively recruiting mentors for both of its mentoring programs. Everybody Wins!, a state-wide literacy-based mentoring program, matches adults with students in grades 2-4.
